GROUND LEVEL MISSIONS

‘Missions' should not be seen merely as overseas; being missional affects our locality, our region, our national scene as well as the nations. This is right at the heart of the gospel and a core Kingdom value.

The Ground Level (Ops) team, has responsible for the vision and direction of missional thinking in the network as a whole. In practical terms this means allocating the priorities as to which potential projects are promoted at Grapevine and then working out how the offering funds should then be allocated.

The local churches of the network have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the relationships that come out of local church.

THE DELIVERY OF THESE ‘PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS'

The ‘big picture' issues will rest with the Ground Level (Ops) team.

The local church relationships will be handled by local church but supported by the Ground Level team, acting through Links International. Links will, in effect, serve the GL team by offering practical, hands-on advice to churches on issues of personnel and potential project development work. This will be accomplished by helping churches to develop their own ‘missional strategy' and then to work with local leadership on practical issues of implementation and troubleshooting.
