Ground Level is very excited to advertise a new opportunity within our Operations Team.
Based out of Ground Level's Lincoln Office as key member of the Operations team this role will be instrumental in delivering the charity's activities and strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be flexible in their approach, being able to adapt themselves to a variety of tasks and willing to learn and grow their skills.

Finance & Administration Assistant
2-3 Days per week. £22-23.5k per annum, pro rata
Brief summary of duties
Performing a variety of administrative tasks
Taking event bookings, telephone calls and answering enquiry emails
Assisting with the planning and delivery of various events and network activities
Organising and facilitating basic office functions such as post, printing and stationery orders
Assisting with crew applications for events and following through vetting procedures
Processing Disclosure & Barring Service Checks
Updating websites as required
Writing and proof reading content for regular communications
Assist with the running of the Lincoln office maintaining the building, supplies e.t.c.
Processing financial transactions; having day to day oversight of the accounts receivable and payable ledger.
Inputting information into accounting software
Performing bank reconciliations
Updating basic reports
Other financial responsibilities including banking, gift aid processing, data inputting and card payment reconciliations
Support the overall function of the organisation including being available to support various Ground Level events and functions.
Skills required
Strong computer skills
Excellent literacy and communication skills
High attention to detail
Experience of using software packages such as Google Drive, Microsoft Office and Xero or similar accounting software.
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Accounting experience is desirable but not essential
